The 2024 FAI World Drone Racing Championship (WDRC)

The 2024 FAI World Drone Racing Championship (WDRC), held in Hangzhou, China, from October 31 to November 3, brought together the world’s best drone pilots for a thrilling competition. Featuring high-speed races on a challenging triple-level, 650-meter track with 55 obstacles, the event showcased top talents across individual, junior, women’s, and national team categories.

In the individual category, Yuki Hashimoto from Japan, part of the DOGCOM pilot team, claimed victory as the overall and junior champion. Meanwhile, Minchan Kim of Korea, a strong contender in drone racing, secured the 4th position.

The Korean national team excelled overall, winning the national team competition, with China and Japan completing the podium.
